The Makalu Base Camp Trek is an ideal trekking route for nature lovers who want to get to know nature and culture on the trekking path. as well as the various views of the highest peak in the world, Everest. This region has a rich cultural heritage, incomparable beauty and natural diversity. This is a hike towards the mountain. Makalu (8483 m) is the fifth highest mountain in the world. The route also leads through dense rhododendron forests. You will also occasionally see animals such as deer, bored monkeys and many different species of birds. If you’re higher up, you may be able to spot the blue sheep and the illusory snow leopards that are on the IUCN’s List of Threatened Areas. Meet the Sherpa in Tashigaun during your acclimatization day. The radiant smile of the locals will enchant you. On the way you will meet Rai and Sherpa people who live in the Himalayas, among others. You can also stop at the Swiss Base Camp on the banks of the desolate Barun Pokhari. From Makalu Base Camp we have a spectacular view of the rarely seen Kangshung face of Everest, Lhotse, Chamlang and Kanchenjunga in the Far East. The towering peaks of 3, 5, Yaupa and the Chamlang Himal along the Tibetan border. It is recommended that you have experience with trekking and that you are in good health before starting trekking in the Makalu region.
