Discover the Hidden Gem of the Manaslu Region

TrekAdviser invites you to an unforgettable adventure to the pristine and secluded Mt. Himlung. Rising to an aspiring height of 7,126 meters, this majestic peak is located to the northeast of the Annapurna Range, nestled along the border of Nepal and Tibet. Unlike many other peaks in its category, Mt. Himlung is relatively easy from a technical climbing perspective, making it an ideal choice for mountaineers seeking both challenge and accessibility.

Expedition Highlights:

Scenic Route: Your journey begins on the renowned Annapurna route, leading up to Koto. From Koto, you will traverse the newly opened trail to Nar-Phu Gaun, and continue towards Manang. This route is adorned with breathtaking views of towering peaks and passes, glaciers, gullies, springs, and charming remote villages.

Cultural Immersion: Experience the rich culture of the remote villages along the way, and be greeted by stunning vistas of Api Hima, Kappa Chuli Peak, Nandadevi, and many more.

Base Camp and Higher Camps: The base camp of Mt. Himlung is set at an elevation of 4,900 meters. Three higher camps will be established at 5,450 meters, 6,000 meters, and 6,350 meters respectively. The final ascent to the summit involves a challenging steep and icy section.
