Role Overview
We are looking for candidates who are: Passionate about trekking, adventure and travel Friendly, responsible and guest-focused Interested in developing a long-term career in adventure tourism Comfortable working in the mountains and with international travellers Good at communication and teamwork Experience: Previous trekking or tourism experience is preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong interest in becoming professional trekking guides are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany groups on treks and ensure safety and satisfaction throughout
- Handle permits, logistics, and documentation for each tour
- Manage on-ground emergencies and provide timely solutions
- Maintain relationships with international and domestic clients
- Prepare post-trip reports and collect client feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tour operations or trekking industry
- Strong knowledge of Nepal's trekking routes and regions (Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- First Aid / Wilderness First Responder certification preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and in remote environments
